What disciplines would be the best to start with at National Artistic Dance competitions?

The One Dance Division is the easiest to understand and organise. All three disciplines are danced to the organisers music and the dancers do not use props. There are:

  • Solo Dance competitions in which the competitors dance on their own, solo.
  • Synchronised Duo Dance competitions, in which the competitors dance in two’s performing synchronised steps side by side.
  • One Dance competitions, in which the competitors compete in one dance only.  Otherwise the competitions are carried out as in “normal” dance competitions which make it easy to get competitors to enrol because they already used to the format.
